Hawzah News Agency- Ayatollah Mohammad Hashem Salehi, the head of the Shia Ulema Council of Afghanistan, sent a message to the head of Iran’s Islamic Seminary Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, thanking him for his sympathy for the loss of Afghan citizens in the recent flood.

In the Name of God
As a result of the floods in the provinces of Baghlan, Badakhshan, Ghor, and Herat, hundreds of our fellow citizens lost their lives and it caused severe damage to residential houses, public places, schools, agricultural lands, gardens, etc., which hurt the hearts of all Muslim people. The flood incident has saddened Afghanistan. While offering condolences to the survivors of this incident and wishing God's mercy and forgiveness for the loved ones who lost their lives, the Shia Ulema Council of Afghanistan expressed its gratitude and appreciation for the expression of grief shared by the nation and the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially the head of Islamic seminaries of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, who soothed the sad hearts of the flood victims with his condolence message and sent a message of kindness to the flood victims, declares that under the shadow of God's mercy, he will witness the reduction of the sufferings and the resolution of the problems of the flood victims as soon as possible and establish normal conditions in those areas.
